Cozy base for exploring Fairlie. Family-friendly hotel with accommodating staff with excellent services. Plenty of great options for meal. Favourable and magnificent location adjacent to New Zealand and the shops for food, only 5 minutes walk from Morelea Farm. Also, to the renowned Fairlie bakery for the best breakfast choices anyone could wish for.

The setting is excellent and exceptionally nice, next to the church, restaurants and shops and restaurants. Their rooms are always modern and good sized with a very comfy bed and kitchen, for example...

Perfect setting, it's so close to a real tavern with the best tap beer and wonderful company of locals and farmers and the lakes & Mt Cook and the lovely township of Fairlie.

Loved getting close to alpacas and llamas. The inflatable water slide was a blast! Dobson ski resort was great for all levels. Pinewood Motels was conveniently located and perfect for business. The view over the Mackenzie Basin was fantastic. Borrowed DVDs and board games for fun.

No heating in the bathroom- chilly buns alert!

We stayed at Pinewood for one night on our drive from Queenstown to Christchurch. It was the perfect stopover with great accommodation, reasonable prices, and all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The nearby Red Stag restaurant is also highly recommended.

Family-friendly hotel in a local area close to cafes/restaurants. Particularly good and perfectly comfortable location, an easy walk to everywhere. For tea or coffee visit Old Library Cafe nearby. Great service, parking on site.

The brochure said Free WIFI but we had to get 5MB card each time we had to use it. Although it was free, it was somewhat inconvenient and not enough. It didn't feel like Free WIFI.

We had a fantastic stay at this place. The location along the main highway was perfect, making it easy for us to explore the surrounding areas. The village itself is very pretty and had some great restaurants to choose from. The service provided by the staff was excellent, from the housekeeping to the friendly and knowledgeable reception staff. Our room was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a comfortable sitting area, dining table, and patio to relax on. The amenities such as heating, air conditioning, and flat-screen TV added to our comfort. The hotel also had a lovely garden area with garden furniture, which was a nice touch. we were impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the hotel.

We would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It offered great value for money and a pleasant stay.
